Friends,
Our Journey to Jesus begins as we are born. Every person, event, and circumstance plays a huge part in our journey. It is important to remember that everyone is on their unique journey and that we are called to love and guide each other along the way. Here at St. John Neumann, we are a welcoming and loving community of God's children. We can't wait to walk with you as we all move toward our shared goal of eternal life with God through the Body of Jesus Christ. We pledge to offer programs that will educate, provide encounter opportunities for you to meet Jesus in your heart, and to be the bridge when life can feel as though you are in muddy waters and can't go on. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or witness stories to share. I want to be the catalyst that moves people toward Jesus. I pray for you and invite you to participate in keeping St. John Neumann Parish and our family of parishes vibrant and growing for generations to come. May God continue to bless you and your family today and always.
Yours in Christ,
Mary Alice Hurst

New Parishioner Welcome & Mentorship Program!
The Office of Evangelization is very excited to announce a new mentorship and welcoming program for new parishioners at St. John Neumann. Joining a new church can be a little scary. To help with the transition we want to offer a warm welcome, introduce our new family members to SJN, and be here to support them however they need.
A mentor will be a friendly face when someone comes to Mass-someone to say hi, welcome the members by name and to periodically check-in to answer questions, etc.
To build this program, we need your help. Our hope is to have a community of mentors with people from each Mass. If God is calling you to be a mentor or for questions, please contact Mary Alice Hurst ([email protected]). We look forward to hearing from you.
New Parishioner Orientation: Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM. We will introduce you to SJN, give you a tour of the building, and give you information regarding the parish, our groups, events, etc. and meet the mentors!
