Parents …you are the single greatest influence on the spiritual and religious life of your children. No person or thing will ever come close. If you live the faith inside and outside of your home, your children have the greatest opportunity to learn how to do the same. In the spiritual and Religious development of children, parents are more important than anything or anyone else, including peers and media (Notre Dame Study Panel: The National Study of Youth & Religion – Bartkus & Kenan, 2016). We, at St. John Neumann are committed to supporting parents and families in living their faith inside and outside of their homes.
Unleash the Gospel
“These words that I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children.” Deuteronomy 6: 6 – 7. Archbishop Vigneron has identified families as “the heart” of our archdiocesan efforts to unleash the Gospel because the family is the “domestic church” and is the first and most important setting for evangelization. Family is the “vital cell” for transforming the world. It is our privilege to journey in faith with every family; let’s encounter Jesus Christ together!
We provide fun activities for children through interactive games, worship music, and engaging environments! Our team is equipped to bring faith and fun to all our classrooms.
We intentionally create environments to make our children (and their parents!) feel safe. All volunteers have the training and go through background checks. Children are encouraged but never forced to participate in activities.
As a church, we are always investing in the next generation, and this starts with children. From praying to sharing relevant Bible lessons with elementary kids, our goal is for each child to learn about the Bible and experience God’s presence weekly.
We are a growing community and strive to build upon that each year. As the year goes by your child will get to grow not only as a disciple but also grow into new friendships.
